MEET OUR FOUNDER | MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Christina Jenkins, MD

The founder and medical director of NuVieMD. A double board-certified surgeon in both general surgery and colorectal surgery, Dr. Jenkins earned her undergraduate degree at UC San Diego, attended Albany Medical College, and completed her general surgery residency at New York Medical College. She continues to practice as a surgeon while also pursuing her passion for aesthetics.

Her journey into aesthetic medicine began during a prior medical directorship, where she developed a deep appreciation for the artistry of facial rejuvenation. Inspired by this passion, she partnered with Jitka to create NuVieMD, a practice dedicated to bespoke, natural results.

In addition to leading the practice, Dr. Jenkins is a skilled injector with advanced training and certifications in Botox®️, Dysport®️, Juvederm®️, and Restylane®️. She is committed to facial balancing and harmony, with a personal focus on correction of poorly placed filler—dissolving and rejuvenating to help clients look refreshed, natural, and like themselves again. At NuVieMD, Dr. Jenkins takes pride in offering individualized, high-quality care that blends medical expertise with a true eye for aesthetic balance.

Co-Founder

Jitka Zavadilova, RN

Jitka is a certified nurse injector and registered nurse, licensed in both the United States and Europe. Originally from the Czech Republic, she began her career in the U.S. under the guidance of a leading cosmetic dermatologist and surgeon in Beverly Hills, where her passion for aesthetics flourished. With 19 years of aesthetic experience, she has trained with some of the world’s top experts, including at the renowned Gardell Clinic in Stockholm, Sweden, and with Dr. Zack Ally at the Sculpt Clinic in London.

Jitka holds advanced certifications in Juvederm®️, Restylane®️, Botox®️, and Dysport®️, and specializes in full facial rejuvenation and under-eye (tear trough) treatments. Known for her precision and artistry, she is highly respected and sought after for her ability to deliver natural, youthful results.

Her philosophy centers on enhancing each client’s unique beauty through individualized treatment plans, often combining injectables with tailored skincare rituals to achieve results that are refined, authentic, and lasting.

TREATMENT PROVIDER

Amy Shafiei, RN, MSN

Amy is an Aesthetic Nurse Injector with nearly 20 years of experience in cosmetic dermatology and plastic surgery. A board-certified registered nurse in California, she also holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).

Throughout her career, Amy has developed extensive expertise with cosmetic injectables—including dermal fillers and neurotoxins—as well as advanced laser and non-surgical technologies. Her skill set includes laser hair removal, vein treatments, IPL, body contouring, radiofrequency skin tightening, vaginal rejuvenation, and a wide range of facial rejuvenation and skin resurfacing procedures.

Passionate about helping clients look and feel their best, Amy is dedicated to creating personalized treatment plans that achieve natural, balanced, and beautiful results.

ESTHETICIAN

Cassandra Rosan

Cassandra is a medically trained aesthetician with more than 30 years of experience in dermatology and plastic surgery. She has dedicated her career to guiding patients through every stage of their skin health journey, from managing acne and hormonal changes to addressing the visible signs of aging.

With a strong foundation in medical aesthetics and a passion for lifelong learning, she delivers evidence-based treatments designed to restore, rejuvenate, and protect the skin. Her approach is rooted in both clinical expertise and a commitment to helping patients achieve sustainable, long-term results.
